Production / Manufacturing Team Member

About the Role Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) is seeking a production/ manufacturing team member for its Ellabell, GA facility. This role contributes to manufacturing and quality goals in an automotive production environment, adheres to safety, quality, and process standards, and collaborates with teams to maintain smooth production flow. The role may require overtime and periodic job rotation in shifts to meet business needs. What You'll Do

• Perform work requirements in assigned area in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet manufacturing and quality goals.
• Comply with and promote company practices in safety, human relations, quality, cost, housekeeping, and delivery targets for a production area.
• Collaborate with Team Members, Team Leader, Group Leader and/or management to coordinate production flow.
• Attend all required training as assigned.
• Interact with others to resolve quality issues; implement repair/containment procedures for repetitive quality defects; notify management and/or affected teams or departments in a timely manner as required.
• Overtime in excess of 40 hours per week may be required.
• Job rotation between different positions and shifts.
• Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
• Meet all other requirements as assigned. What We're Looking For
• Language: Strong command of the English language (written and spoken) is essential for safety, communication, documentation, and collaboration across the organization.
• Education: High School Diploma/GED; 2-year Technical Degree preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years job-related experience preferred.
• Competencies: Analytical Thinking; Monitoring & Feedback; Prompt Judgment and Action; Problem Solving.
• Travel: Domestic / International travel may be required occasionally.
• Physical/Environmental: Standing, walking, bending, reaching; lifting/pushing/pulling up to 25–30 pounds; PPE; environments that may be noisy or hot; ability to climb ladders or stairs; ability to learn and work on multiple processes; visual and auditory safety awareness; prompt attendance; ability to work in a team.
