About the Role

We are seeking a Production Manager with a strong Electrical Engineering background and hands-on experience in the solar panel manufacturing/renewable energy industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operational activities, coordinating production and technical teams, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining operational, safety, and quality standards across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily operations within the solar panel manufacturing facility.

• Supervise production, technical, and support teams to ensure efficient workflow and achievement of operational targets.

• Monitor production activities and ensure adherence to established quality and safety standards.

• Coordinate shift activities and ensure proper handover between teams.

• Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to minimize downtime and improve productivity.

• Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and production equipment.

• Review production processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost optimization.

• Prepare and maintain operational reports, shift reports, and other relevant documentation.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, and manufacturing procedures.

• Work closely with management and other departments to resolve operational issues and meet production objectives.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and performance oversight to assigned team members.

• Use AutoCAD for relevant technical drawings, layouts, modifications, and operational requirements where necessary.

• Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

• Proven experience working in a solar panel manufacturing company, solar energy company, or related renewable energy environment.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Good understanding of electrical systems, solar panel production processes, and related equipment.

• Previous experience in operations management, production supervision, or team leadership is highly desirable.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities.
