About the Role The Production Manager will lead day-to-day manufacturing and distribution operations in alignment with the General Manager's strategic initiatives and goals. This role will also lead a team of Supervisors and Leads who are directly responsible for hourly team members performing production duties. The Production Manager will also demonstrate aptitude in utilizing lean and/or continuous improvement methodology to drive plant improvement. What You'll Do
- Plan, lead and manage a complex, multi-shift production and distribution operations.
- Review and analyze production, quality control and operational reports.
- Analyze quality issues and determine root cause to develop and implement corrective action.
- Lead a team of Supervisors and Leads who are directly responsible for hourly team members performing production duties.
- Utilize lean and/or continuous improvement methodologies to drive plant improvements.
- Work in alignment with the General Manager's strategic initiatives and goals.
- 2nd shift schedule: 3:00pm - 1:00am. What We're Looking For
- Required: 8 years plus working as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of "if, and, or" concepts.
- Logical thinking skills.
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
- Strong team player with organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
