About the Role BIC in Anixi, Greece is hiring for two manufacturing roles within the production team: Production Machine Operator (temporary) and Process Expert – Mechanical. The roles focus on operating and maintaining production lines, ensuring quality, and contributing to process improvements in a fast-paced consumer goods environment. What You'll Do
- Supervise proper operation of production machines and feed machines with raw materials.
- Collect, package, and store finished products.
- Conduct periodic quality and visual inspections of finished products and perform statistical process control.
- Follow production instructions and adhere to safety, health and environmental policies; manage daily production documentation.
- Work in rotating shifts as required.
- Participate in the execution of the production program and assist with product changes.
- Perform or assist in fault diagnosis and repairs; contribute to improvements of the production process.
- Train team members in proper handling and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Collaborate with technical departments to improve equipment and develop new ones. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma; ability to work in rotating shifts; military obligations fulfilled for male candidates.
- Preferred: technical high school/technical college/ IEK with specialization in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation fields.
- Experience in a similar role in an industrial environment.
- Knowledge of handling assembly/packaging lines or production machines; basic computer skills.
- Good knowledge of English.
- For the Process Expert role: Technical education with 2 years of experience in maintenance of production machines or higher; license as Technician, Senior Technician, or Equipment Installation Engineer.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Team spirit, collaboration and communication. Nice to Have
- Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment.
- Certifications/licensing as Technician, Senior Technician, or Equipment Installation Engineer.
