About this role
Volt is immediately hiring for Production Line Lead in Fremont, CA.
As a Production Line Lead, you will:
- Assign and coordinate operators to designated job tasks while ensuring daily production goals are met.
- Promote a safe work environment by monitoring safe work practices and reporting unsafe conditions to management.
- Ensure operators follow SOPs and provide training support to improve skill levels in partnership with Manufacturing Engineers (MEs).
- Monitor production activities, including RMA repair status, cycle times, quality issues, and daily build progress, and communicate updates to supervisors and project managers.
- Maintain workstations by verifying parts, tools, fixtures, consumables, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and adherence to 5S standards.
- Manage nonconforming material (MRB), remove outdated consumables, and coordinate process improvements or SOP updates with supervisors and MEs.
This is a full time, temp to hire opportunity!
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Experience in 10k cleanroom
Pay Rate: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE
