Job title: Production Laborer
About the Role The Production Laborer performs unskilled production duties at Bachoco Foods locations as directed by a supervisor. This is a safety-sensitive, non-supervisory role with a Monday–Friday 5:00 PM–2:00 AM shift that supports manufacturing operations.
What You'll Do
- Work at the assigned work station or other stations as needed and as directed by supervision.
- Fill in for other production employees due to absences, vacations, or production needs.
- Follow supervisor instructions, adhere to policies and procedures, and operate equipment and materials properly.
- Observe safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions; contribute to a safe work environment.
- Maintain productivity and assist with meeting production needs as required.
What We're Looking For
- No prior experience or training required.
- Ability to read a limited number of words and recognize simple similarities/differences between words and numbers; ability to print and speak simple sentences.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions; handle standardized situations with occasional variables.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods; regularly lift and move up to 75 pounds; occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; exposure to wet/humid conditions and loud environments; ability to work in extreme cold.
