Production Group Leader

• Manage and oversee the operations of the specific production group in accordance with company standards and procedures.

• Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

• Monitor and control production outputs, performing regular quality checks and making necessary adjustments.

• Schedule and assign tasks to team members, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to production schedules.

• Handle performance reviews of team members, implementing training and development plans as necessary.

• Investigate and resolve any production performance issues, implementing corrective actions promptly to minimize downtime.

• Liaise with other departments, such as quality control, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations and timely production.

• Enforce company policies and standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Assist in the development and implementation of operational improvements, working towards achieving production goals and objectives.

• Compile and maintain production reports, recording all relevant data and statistics of the production group.

• Participate in the hiring process of new production staff, and ensure proper induction and training is given.

• Maintain effective communication with team members, addressing any concerns or suggestions promptly.

• Starting Hourly Wage: 25.50

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a leadership role.

• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing operational efficiency.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.

• Proficiency in relevant manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, with excellent organizational and planning skills.

• Understanding and commitment to complying with all safety, health and environmental rules and regulations.

• Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• Strong record-keeping abilities, with experience in preparing and maintaining production reports and schedules.
