Job title: Production Control Specialist 1

About the Role The Production Control Specialist 1 will support production planning, inventory control, capacity management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure stable manufacturing operations and on-time delivery performance. This role collaborates with internal teams and outsourcing partners to optimize operational performance. You will monitor key KPIs and help drive corrective actions as needed.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate production activities across internal production teams and outsourcing contractors to optimize operational performance
  • Monitor and analyze key operational KPIs including On-Time Delivery, Production Target Hit Ratio, Yield, Capacity Utilization, and Inventory Accuracy
  • Coordinate production schedules and monitor day-to-day production performance (in-house and outsourcing contractor)
  • Support capacity planning and capacity utilization monitoring for in-house manufacturing operations and outsourcing contractor
  • Cross-functional collaboration with production, outsourcing contractor, procurement and logistics teams
  • Coordinate and synchronize operational data across manufacturing and enterprise systems (MES, ERP, WMS, SCM, MRP, etc.)
  • Inventory management of raw materials, WIP inventories, and product inventories (in-house and outsourcing contractor)
  • Coordinate shipment and logistics schedules to support on-time delivery
  • Support root cause investigations and implement corrective actions related to production, quality, and operational issues
  • Evaluate production feasibility and maintain Line of Balance (LOB) planning to support capacity and production readiness
  • Prepare routine production status reports and communicate operational performance updates
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering or relevant experience; 0-2 years of experience in production control, supply chain, or manufacturing operation; Experience in outsourced production and supplier management is a plus
  • Knowledge/Skills: Strong computer skills including ERP, Excel, PowerPoint, and Manufacturing Legacy System; Strong interest in automotive industry and basic understanding of manufacturing process; Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation; Able to work flexible hours occasionally to support team needs; Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals; Ability to multitask and solve complex problems; Strong technical analysis and troubleshooting skills
