Volt is immediately hiring for Production Associates in Joliet, Illinois.
As a Production Associate you will:
- Assemble and/or process quality products safely and accurately in a timely manner
- Concentrates efforts on assembling wood boxes according to customer specifications.
- Operate equipment necessary to manufacture customer product. Equipment can include nail guns, staplers, hammer, band cutters, bander, pallet jack, and tape measure
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Monitor quality of product being produced and notifies the lead or supervisor of any issues
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with verbal and written procedures, rules, and regulations throughout shift
- Be able to fill out your productivity sheet and shipping tag legibly
This is a full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ability to stand for 8 hours at one time
- Work in different temperatures
- Lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Bending, pushing, pulling or moving materials
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
