About this role

Production Assistant Three Lakes Winery Wisconsin's Oldest Same-Family Winery – Est. 1972 Now Hiring: Production Assistant Full-Time (30-40/week) Full-time, on-site at our winery in Three Lakes, WI — Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with occasional weekends in peak season. Not remote, not part-time. This is physical, repetitive, sometimes messy production work; you must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Three Lakes Winery has been crafting fruit and berry wines since 1972. We're a working production operation and we're entering a new phase: reviewing and formalizing our formulas & processes and setting up systems that will carry the winery into its next 50 years. We need a steady, detail-oriented person who wants to be part of that work.

What You'll Do

  • Work alongside and shadow our winemaker on all phases of wine production – fruit processing, fermentation, straining, filtering, and bottling.

  • Write or re-write or edit and update written formulas and process instructions precisely and document each step as you go.

  • Operate and maintain the bottling line; assemble and stage orders for sales and distribution.

  • Keep the production floor, warehouse, and equipment clean and organized to food-production standards.

  • Support facility and grounds maintenance when production is not active.

  • Help transition handwritten and historical-knowledge processes into a simple, shared digital operating system.

  • What We're Looking For

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Detail-oriented – you can follow a formula, record results.

  • Clean and organized by habit

  • Coachable – you learn by watching and doing.

  • Physically capable of repetitive, sometimes messy production work; able to lift 50 lbs.

  • Comfortable with basic technology: phone photos, simple spreadsheets, shared documents.

  • Clear communicator – you can describe what happened, what you did, and what you need.

  • Production, warehouse, food manufacturing, or brewing/winemaking experience is a plus – but not required if you bring the right habits and attitude.
