Job title: Production and Instrumentation Technician
About the Role Join Linde as a Production and Instrumentation Technician supporting cryogenic air separation operations in Inver Grove Heights. You will operate, monitor, and optimize equipment to safely produce high-quality products, while maintaining reliability and compliance.
What You'll Do
- Operate, monitor, and optimize cryogenic air separation equipment to ensure safe, efficient production and maintain product quality
- Analyze process data, adjust operating conditions, and perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual process checks and compliance inspections
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, one-line drawings, and process flow diagrams; update documentation in accordance with SOPs, QA standards, and MOC requirements
- Calibrate, troubleshoot, maintain, and perform minor repairs on instrumentation and control systems, including transmitters, analyzers, PLCs, meters, control valves, UPS units, and related components
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on compressors, pumps, motors, fans, burner systems, and other mechanical and rotating equipment
- Conduct routine equipment inspections, performance evaluations, and troubleshooting activities to maximize reliability and minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and maintain low-voltage electrical systems (600V) electrical systems and advanced process automation troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Fluke calibrators and Hart communicators
- Prior CMMS experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $67,444 - $98,918 per year
