Job title: Product Validation Engineer
About the Role Our Electronics Tech Center in Brasov focuses on the innovation, development and testing of electronic applications in the Passive Safety area (Seatbelts & Steering Wheels), coordinating end-to-end projects for European OEMs. We are looking for a Product Validation Engineer to join our growing team. Our new colleague will be responsible for the Design Validation (DV) and Product Validation (PV) of our electronic products.
What You'll Do
- Review customer requirements related to validation tests (electrical, EMC / ESD and environmental tests)
- Develop DV / PV test specification based on Customer Requirements and Industry Standard
- Plan activities for test execution for DV / PV (e.g. sample build)
- Analyze result in order to create final test report
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics or similar
- Previous experience in product validation for electronics systems, ideally in the automotive industry
- Solid knowledge of system and hardware
- Good understanding of system/software testing, testing tool knowledge (e.g. CANoe)
- Programming skills would be a plus
