Product Security Analyst

Role Overview

Product Security Analyst reports to the Director of Product Security in the Global Information Security team, supporting all product security architecture and transformation tasks.

Product Security Analyst is responsible for reviewing IGT technology solutions, identifying potential security gaps, determining risk, and providing remediation guidance and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across all business units and review security architecture, requirements, diagrams, workflows, and recommend security related functions and enhancements for customer-facing products.
  • Model threats and attack vectors and design security controls to mitigate risk, including managing SAST/SCA/ICS findings.
  • Ensure project compliance to information security and industry related standards, policies, and procedures. Make recommendations to ISMS modification as needed.
  • Make recommendations on confidentiality, integrity, and availability goals, as well as cryptography, proper authentication methods, network security, data storage and handling, and security of architectures and protocols planned to be used in a solution.
  • Investigate and recommend security technologies for incorporation into the architecture of company products/services.
  • Assists in the development of secure architecture and designs and provides training on security solutions.
  • Works closely with IT Services on security aspects of Microsoft, UNIX-like, and mobile environments
  • Actively follow threat and attack landscape, new security architecture trends and solutions, and recommend implementation when and where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and self-leadership skills.

  • Programming background in writing or auditing Js, Python, Go, .Net, and/or the C family of languages.

  • Ability to act independently and exercise good judgment as well as the ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Experience and demonstration of knowledge on securing product space in one or more of cloud environments

  • Bachelor's degree with a technical / computer science/technology major or equivalent experience in a computer science or engineering field.
