About the Role
You will define the mandatory standards and certifications for Videotec products across reference markets, and align voluntary certifications with marketing strategy. You will intervene during the new product development phase to guide technical choices and ensure compliance with product regulatory requirements. You will coordinate actions to certify products to mandatory and voluntary standards, manage internal and external testing, and maintain an archive of declarations of conformity, certifications, and official test reports. What You'll Do

Define the mandatory standards and certifications for Videotec products in relation to the reference markets.

Define, in agreement with marketing, the voluntary certifications and tests to be applied to Videotec products.

Intervene during the new product development phase to guide technical choices, ensuring they align with the standards and product regulatory requirements.

Coordinate actions to guarantee certification of products according to mandatory and voluntary standards, working internally at Videotec and with external accredited bodies, ensuring timelines.

Ensure the execution and, with project managers, successful completion of required external tests.

Create and maintain the archive of declarations of conformity, certifications, and official product test reports.

Perform other duties inherent to the Research and Development Technical Office.

Prepare EU Declarations of Conformity and other regulatory documents.

Manage UL quarterly inspections and annual ISO audits. What We're Looking For

ATEX certification experience (flame proof and dust protection) is a plus.

Electronic/electric and mechanical engineering background.

CE/UKCA/UL and other worldwide certification knowledge.

Hardware type approval requirements for global markets.

Understanding harmonised EN standards in the EU (EMC, LVD, RoHS and others).

Google Suite knowledge (spreadsheets, slides, etc.).

AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Notebook LM).

ISO9001 experience.

Native Italian and communicative English. Nice to Have

Target Base Salary Range: €45,000 - €55,000 EUR per year.
