About this role

About the Role Product Quality Lead for CNH Industrial's Worldwide Compacts, responsible for ensuring customers are satisfied with the quality and performance of existing compact product lines. The role focuses on quality and cost targets to deliver the best possible customer experience while maintaining CNH's business environment. You will ensure projects emphasize cost and investment targets, test plan quality, reduce design-release errors, and enable clean launches; assure implementation to the end customer and close issues with the Commercial group and Product Quality, then update the process with lessons learned. What You'll Do

  • Create Current Product Quality roadmaps, priority lists and Cost Reduction plans for existing product lines.
  • Help estimate budgets with the Chief Engineer, PV Manager and Quality team; create budgets, forecasts and capital requirements with economic justifications linked to project activities.
  • Work with functional groups to build detailed timing plans, maintain project records, and create risk matrices with mitigation plans; capture and implement lessons learned.
  • Inspect each project scope for clarity of problem definition, customer benefit, suitable method to identify and test root causes, evaluation of concept against project goals, and final implementation targets.
  • Define courses of action and schedules consistent with project and product line objectives; collaborate with marketing, engineering, product management, manufacturing, purchasing and suppliers to ensure plan execution; assure implementation through to the end customer.
  • After launch, monitor early product issues; coordinate with engineering, plant quality and manufacturing to address issues; the program will be run by a new product quality lead and managed with the CRB and quality processes. What We're Looking For
  • Experience in product quality management and improving the quality and cost of existing product lines.
  • Ability to build roadmaps, prioritize work, and develop cost-reduction plans.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and capital planning capabilities with economic justifications linked to project activities.
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration across marketing, engineering, product management, manufacturing, purchasing and suppliers.
  • Solid problem solving including root-cause analysis, testing concepts, and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent project management, communication and process-improvement mindset.
