About the Role DBT Labs is seeking a leader to own and advance Product Platform Capabilities, enabling a single platform for all data movement needs. You will steward platform areas including transformations, security, governance, extensibility, activations, and deployment to support data movement across sources and destinations such as SaaS replication, database replication, SAP replication, streaming, file replication, and custom connectors. What You'll Do
- Define and drive platform features for data movement across sources+destinations (SaaS, databases, data lakes, data warehouses) including connectors and deployment options.
- Collaborate with security, governance, and extensibility teams to ensure robust, governed, and scalable data movement at scale.
- Partner with developers and customers, and lead integrations with major cloud and analytics platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery).
- Oversee activation of data movement to business tools to drive impact, and support hybrid deployment strategies.
- Represent the platform to internal and external partners (Fivetran integration, open data infrastructure initiatives). What We're Looking For
- Experience shaping product platforms for data movement, governance, and security.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (engineering, security, product, partnerships).
- Familiarity with cloud data ecosystems and connectors across SaaS, databases, data lakes/data warehouses.
- Understanding of distributed data systems and real-time analytics. Nice to Have
- Experience with Fivetran integration and other data integration tools.
- Familiarity with agentic AI data infrastructure and data democratization initiatives.
- Prior work with data developers and partners in AWS, Databricks, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake.
