We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner with a strong background in business analysis and a deep understanding of origination and lending platform design. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering projects related to Cards, Loans, and Mortgages, with a preference for those familiar with HSBC systems and operational methodologies. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage customer journeys and drive product development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product vision and strategy for origination and lending platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including development, design, and marketing, to deliver high quality products on time and within budget.
• Conduct thorough business analysis to identify requirements, define user stories, and prioritize the product backlog.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure that product features meet customer expectations and enhance user experience.
• Monitor project progress and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to achieve project objectives.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in lending and financial services to inform product development.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong business analysis skills with a focus on requirements gathering and documentation.
• Proven experience in product ownership, particularly in the financial services sector.
• Deep understanding of customer journeys and user experience design.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with HSBC systems and operational processes.
• Experience in delivering projects related to Cards, Loans, and Mortgages.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the financial services industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

• 7-10 years of experience in business analysis and product ownership within the financial services sector.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)) are a plus.
