About the Role
We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Accounts Payable team at Tyler Technologies. You will define product strategy and roadmap, lead cross-functional delivery, and partner with sales, marketing, and executive leadership to ensure product-market fit for public-sector financial management solutions.
What You'll Do

Define product strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.

Act as expert for multiple products and solutions to identify trends, gaps, and positioning opportunities.

Create plans and published roadmaps that articulate product direction to internal teams and external clients.

Establish organizational alignment and buy-in for future product strategy.

Drive go-to-market strategy including pricing, positioning, and launch planning.

Support Sales Enablement with pricing strategies.

Coordinate with sales and marketing on product messaging, training, and client feedback.

Collaborate with executive leadership to validate product-market fit and align initiatives with company strategy.

Influence priorities across departments.

Partner with engineering, design, and QA to ensure feasible and timely delivery.

Lead cross-functional product teams through planning, execution, and delivery cycles.

Present product updates and performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership.

Manage relationships with key clients and partners to gather requirements and validate solutions.

Monitor client satisfaction metrics and implement strategies to improve retention and engagement.

Create user focus groups to validate and adjust product vision/strategy.

Provide input on partner relationships for buying, selling, or partnering on new features.

Build and maintain relationships with 3rd-party integration vendors.

Champion new technologies to keep Tyler competitive.

Proactively communicate product performance, issues, and market/competition changes to senior management.

Contribute to team environment through integrity, leadership, and knowledge transfer.

Mentor product analysts and staff for growth, ownership, and leadership.

Occasional travel may be required.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Science, or Business; equivalent work experience may substitute.

Typically 5+ years of experience with enterprise-level software development projects.

Proven track record of the highest knowledge.

Highly advanced knowledge of Agile SCRUM development processes.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge and understanding of the full software development lifecycle and related methodologies.

Keen attention to detail.

Excellent planning and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Excellent time management.
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

Knowledge and experience with data modeling, relational databases, and SQL queries.

Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

Ability to travel occasionally if requested.
