Job Description
Role: Product Manager Rate: $48-52/hr Location: Needham, MA onsite 3 months
Overview
We are seeking a Product Developer Contractor to join a growing Beauty team, supporting the development of innovative hair care products. This role sits within the New Product Development team, which brings products from prototype to market with a strong focus on consumer needs and satisfaction.
The Product Development team drives the product roadmap from concept to shelf, partnering cross-functionally with various departments to deliver high-quality products and strong business results.
Key Responsibilities

Lead product decisions on a new hair care device in development, including defining KPIs and overall product requirements.

Conduct user research through in-person testing, surveys, and sample evaluations to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for optimization.

Manage the creation and execution of product support materials, including in-box collateral, on-product point-of-purchase materials, product UI, and mock digital content.

Document and track technical product performance and issues, driving resolution through cross-functional collaboration.

Support the execution of key product claims and obtain appropriate substantiation.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

1+ years of product development experience, preferably within a consumer goods company.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, high-impact environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SharePoint knowledge is a plus.

Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

Resourceful, organized, dependable, efficient, and detail-oriented.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while also working independently.
