About the Role We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive next-generation EDA solutions focused on synthesis, RTL architecture, place and route, and ECO methodologies. This role involves engaging with customers to translate needs into executable specifications, shaping the Synopsys SCA roadmap, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features.
What You'll Do
- Engage directly with customers to identify high-value problems, particularly around optimizing power, performance, and area (PPA) and achieving multi-physics closure in design.
- Analyze and interpret market trends to inform the Synopsys SCA roadmap, focusing on advanced nodes and GenAI/Agentic flows.
- Collaborate with DRIs and field partners to identify product gaps and opportunities for tool enhancements and innovation.
- Define and prioritize product roadmaps by crafting Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) and partnering with Product Engineers to develop Product Requirements Documents (PRDs).
- Write code prototypes for new features and products, serving as executable specifications to demonstrate functionality and requirements to development teams.
- Manage release readiness, including defining criteria for Alpha, Beta, Limited Customer Availability (LCA), and General Availability (GA) stages.
- Enable partners and field teams with training, strategic campaigns, and benchmarks to ensure new products deliver on promised value.
- Represent Synopsys as a subject matter expert at customer forums, TRMs and MRMs, and driving thought leadership at industry conferences.
What We're Looking For
- Deep technical expertise in EDA tools, especially in synthesis, RTL architecture, place and route and ECO methodologies.
- Proven experience in product management, including roadmap prioritization, MRD/PRD development, and release readiness (nice to have).
- Strong coding skills for prototyping features and creating executable specifications.
- Ability to analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscapes to inform product strategy.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, marketing, partners) in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity presenting at industry forums, conferences, and customer meetings as a subject matter expert.
- Customer-centric, analytical, collaborative, effective communicator, adaptable, and inclusive.
Nice to Have
- Product management experience including roadmap prioritization, MRD/PRD development, and release readiness is a nice-to-have.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: USD 208000-$312000 per year.
