Job title: Product Manager / Proxy Product Owner
About the Role We are seeking a Product Manager / Proxy Product Owner to oversee programs and large projects within Babel's strategic transformation initiatives. The role focuses on rationalizing and standardizing project management processes, helping prioritize projects, managing non-personnel resources, and ensuring financial management of programs.
What You'll Do
- Manage programs and major projects, align with strategic objectives, and implement standardized project management processes across the organization.
- Help prioritize projects and coordinate resources (non-personnel) to deliver programs on time and within budget.
- Ensure financial governance of programs and reporting, with familiarity with Jira, Trello, Confluence, Git/GitHub/GitLab, and other listed tools.
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end tech stacks (React 18, React Native 0.75; Java Spring, cloud, data, security; Kafka, Keycloak, etc.) and cloud infra (Azure).
- Support transformation initiatives and contribute to Babel's Hyperspace 2029 plan to drive growth and digital transformation.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in program management and large projects; ability to rationalize and standardize processes; experience prioritizing projects within an organization.
- Familiarity with project management tools: Jira, Trello, Confluence; version control: Git, GitHub, GitLab.
- Knowledge of front-end/back-end tech stacks listed (React, React Native, Java Spring, Kafka, Keycloak, etc.).
- Understanding of cloud, data, security, and CI/CD pipelines; familiar with Docker, Kubernetes.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and drive results; alignment with Babel values and transformation initiatives.
