About the Role This is a general application track for Canonical's Product Management roles. You will set a clear vision, prioritize work effectively, and ensure the team delivers high-quality products that meet business and user needs, aligning with Canonical's open source strategy and the Ubuntu ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Set a clear product vision and strategy and translate it into actionable roadmaps.
- Prioritize work effectively to maximize impact and ensure timely delivery.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet business and user needs.
- Communicate effectively and demonstrate technical vision to guide product decisions in a distributed, open source environment.
- Drive product strategy that aligns with Canonical's business goals and open source values.
- Collaborate with teams to identify software products that fit your interests during the interview process.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
- Technical vision and ability to translate business requirements into product strategy.
- Interest in open source software and enterprise technology.
- Experience in product management or as a technologist delivering products and solutions.
- Ability to work in globally distributed, mostly remote teams; comfort with occasional in-person strategy sessions (2–4 times per year).
- Alignment with Canonical's open source values and Ubuntu ecosystem.
