As a Stationery Product Manager, you will play a key role in driving the development and execution of product and trade marketing initiatives across the assigned markets. You will adapt global/regional strategies to local market needs, develop compelling activation plans, monitor category performance, and translate consumer, customer, and market insights into actions that drive brand growth. By partnering closely with Sales and cross-functional teams, you will identify growth opportunities and ensure best-in-class execution across channels. This role reports to the Trade Marketing Manager Romania & Export Markets.
What you'll do

Execute Trade Marketing Programs That Build Demand Across Channels

Run in-store activation programs across Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Stationery Specialists, and Office Supply channels to engage customers and consumers.

Support the execution of consumer marketing campaigns across TV, Digital, and Out-of-Home channels to strengthen brand awareness and engagement.

Develop trade marketing materials and digital product content and coordinate annual promotional plans from execution through performance tracking and effectiveness evaluation.

Drive Category Performance Through Insights and Execution

Own the day-to-day management of the category by supporting assortment, pricing, and portfolio decisions that contribute to growth and profitability.

Monitor category performance, manage marketing investment budgets, and assess the business impact of promotional activities to guide future actions.

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments to provide insights and recommendations that support category and commercial decisions.

Provide Market Insights and Category Expertise

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and category performance through market analysis, field visits, and close collaboration with Sales teams, translating insights into actionable recommendations.

Support category planning processes, including forecasting, budgeting, new product launches, and performance reviews, while sharing best practices and campaign learnings across markets.

Act as a category ambassador by delivering product trainings to Sales, distributors, and new employees, and supporting initiatives that strengthen BIC's positioning among educators and key influencers.

Delivery of sales, volume, profitability, and market share objectives.

Effective execution of promotional plans and trade marketing initiatives across channels.

High-quality implementation of in-store visibility and point-of-sale materials.

Timely delivery of category management and marketing planning activities.

Strong support of category growth through data-driven recommendations and market insights.
What you'll bring to BIC:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, Category Management, or a similar commercial marketing role.
- Prior experience building promo plans and running profitability/effectiveness analysis is a plus
- Experience working across multiple countries/markets simultaneously is a plus
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with pricing analysis, profitability management, promotional ROI, and business case development.
- Ability to analyze sales, market, and shopper data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience in working with/managing marketing and promotional budgets.
- Good understanding of consumer marketing, shopper marketing, and trade activation principles.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in working with data and performance reporting.
- Fluent English
