Qualification, Experience and Competencies
-
Qualified Artisan (Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic, Auto Electrician, Heavy Equipment Mechanic or equivalent).
-
Trade Test Certificate and Valid Driver's License.
-
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Degree in Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics or Technology-related discipline advantageous
-
Minimum 5 years' experience in construction, earthmoving, technology, machine control, surveying, or equipment management environments.

Minimum 3 years' experience with machine control, GNSS, Grade Control, machine guidance, survey, or construction technology solutions.
-
Proven experience installing and commissioning Grade Control systems.
-
Experience troubleshooting machine electrical and electronic systems.
-
Experience supporting customer-facing technology deployments.
-
Experience operating and configuring construction technology software.
-
Strong understanding of Earthmoving and Construction applications.
-
Proven experience working on Trimble, Topcon, Leica, or other machine control system experience.
-
Experience configuring GNSS receivers, base stations and correction networks.
-
Machine calibration and machine control deployment experience.
-
Survey control and site positioning experience.
-
Experience troubleshooting machine electrical, CANBUS and electronic systems.
-
Experience with Caterpillar Grade, Trimble, Leica, Topcon or similar machine control platforms.
-
Caterpillar Grade experience advantageous.
