About this role
Product Manager – Autonomous Mobility/ Commercial Auto Insurance
Costa Mesa, CA or Dallas, TX
This role is onsite most days in the Costa Mesa office. Relocation assistance may be considered for an exceptional candidate. Fully remote work is not currently planned, although limited flexibility may be explored for an outstanding candidate.
Position Overview The organization does not currently offer commercial auto insurance products and is beginning to define its strategy in this space. This person will serve as the initial product leader for the initiative, helping the business understand the opportunity, evaluate potential paths forward, and build the foundation for a future commercial auto and emerging mobility product organization.
The initial focus will be on light commercial auto and mobility segments that align with the organization’s existing operational and underwriting capabilities. This is not a heavy trucking role. The position will initially be heavily focused on strategy, market analysis, product vision, business cases, and executive alignment before transitioning into broader product development and team-building responsibilities.
Over time, the role is expected to transition from the emerging mobility strategy team into the broader insurance product management organization, potentially within 12 to 36 months as the product vision and operating model take shape.
