Product Manager Adsorbents
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end product portfolio and lifecycle
- Define and maintain pricing guidelines, ensuring compliance across sales channels
- Approve formulations, product and raw material specifications, and packaging standards
- Drive product lifecycle decisions, including portfolio pruning and cost optimization initiatives
- Ensure full regulatory compliance, coordinating with corporate and regulatory teams on product documentation
- Lead resolution of customer complaints, balancing customer satisfaction with operational feasibility
- Initiate and manage innovation and improvement projects in close collaboration with R&D and technical teams
- Evaluate and implement strategies to access new market segments (e.g., Pharmaceutical industry)
- Partner with Marketing to develop technical content, training materials, and trade show contributions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality Management, and Sales Managers to align on product strategy and execution
- The role also involves travel to engage with customers and stakeholders as needed.
Requirements

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a closely related field

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in product management, technical marketing, or a related role in the specialty chemicals industry, experience in sales or positions with exposure with customers is an advantage

Strong technical understanding of adsorbents, additives, or related chemical products (preferred)

Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage

Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional stakeholder relationships with confidence and clarity
