Job description:
Core Engineering & Platforms (CEP) group is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Product Engineering for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to drive the development and adoption of enterprise-scale infrastructure automation capabilities. This role is responsible for designing, building, and productizing reusable infrastructure solutions that enable engineering teams to provision, manage, and operate infrastructure through code. The ideal candidate may have successfully launched large-scale IaC initiatives and can translate strategic objectives into practical, scalable engineering solutions.
As a technical acumen and practitioner, the candidate will establish engineering standards, build reusable modules and automation frameworks, implement CI/CD pipelines, and drive self-service infrastructure capabilities across the organization. Also, the candidate will collaborate closely with platform, server, security, networking, and application teams to transform infrastructure delivery from manual processes into a resilient, automated, and software-defined operating model.
This role is open across Senior Consultant II and Lead Consultant levels.
Accountabilities:
-
Accountable for the enterprise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy, standards, governance, and adoption roadmap.
-
Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure automation solutions across omni-hosted platforms.
-
Build reusable modules, templates, blueprints, and self-service automation capabilities for infrastructure teams.
-
Develop automation using Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, Puppet, Rundeck, Python, or related infrastructure automation technologies.
-
Apply AI-assisted engineering and Specification-Driven Design practices to improve delivery speed, consistency, and automation quality.
-
Understanding of responsible AI practices, security controls, governance, and risk management within enterprise automation platforms.
-
Design and develop APIs and integrations that enable infrastructure orchestration, provisioning, and platform services.
-
Drive CI/CD, security, compliance, testing, and deployment automation for infrastructure delivery.
-
Partner with platform product teams to accelerate IaC adoption and productize infrastructure capabilities.
-
Create documentation, reference architectures, training materials, and enablement programs for IaC tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices.
-
Leverage cross-domain infrastructure knowledge spanning compute, networking, storage, security, identity, cloud, and infra services to deliver curated consumer-facing platform products and improve operational resilience.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with Infrastructure as Code principles, patterns, and engineering practices.
- Experience with continuous collaborative pair programming to solve technical challenges.
- Strong experience building infrastructure automation solutions using tools such as Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, Env0, Puppet, or equivalent platforms.
- Demonstrated success in establishing and scaling enterprise infrastructure automation initiatives.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
- Knowledge of Git-based development workflows, branching strategies, pull requests, and code review practices.
- Experience building reusable modules, templates, and shared automation services.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, identity management, and platform services.
Bonus Qualifications:
-
Experience integrating LLMs, MCPs, AI agents, Copilot technologies, or workflow automation platforms into infrastructure engineering solutions.
-
Experience building AI-native infrastructure platforms that incorporate intelligent code generation, automated testing, policy validation, self-healing workflows, and predictive operational insights.
-
Experience enabling self-service capabilities through platform engineering or developer platforms.
-
Supervisory Responsibilities
