Company Description

We are building an enterprise AI platform that transforms how revenue teams operate through autonomous AI agents. The platform automates manual work across the customer lifecycle, allowing sales teams to focus on selling while AI-powered systems handle prospecting, research, outreach, buying-signal detection, and other revenue workflows.

The product spans multiple enterprise application surfaces, including account data enrichment, recommended next actions, automated prospecting, personalized outbound sequences, voice agents, and dialer functionality. Each product surface has the potential to become a significant standalone business line.

The company serves large enterprise customers across industries such as banking, hardware, construction, and enterprise technology, alongside fast-growing AI-native businesses. Its approach combines a core platform with customer-specific solutions built in close collaboration with enterprise clients.

Engineering is central to the company's culture. Teams operate with significant autonomy, direct responsibility, and a strong emphasis on first-principles thinking, speed, and customer impact. There are no traditional product managers or layers of management directing every decision. Engineers work directly with customers, growth strategists, forward-deployed engineers, and other technical teams to determine what needs to be built and deliver it.

What You Will Do

Own complex product interfaces: Build and evolve sophisticated, production-grade React interfaces across six to seven enterprise product surfaces, each with the potential to become a major business line.

Drive frontend architecture: Make decisions around component design, state management, data flow, rendering behavior, performance, and maintainability.

Build reusable UI components: Develop scalable, reusable components that support complex product experiences and integrate with distributed backend systems.

Own UI performance and quality: Improve rendering efficiency, responsiveness, usability, and overall frontend reliability as the platform and customer base scale.

Work directly with enterprise customers: Partner with growth strategists, forward-deployed engineers, backend engineers, and platform engineers to translate feedback from Global 2000 customers into shipped product.

Exercise product judgment: Evaluate customer requests independently, identify which problems create meaningful value, and make decisions about what should be built without relying on a traditional product manager.

Build across the middle tier: Implement API orchestration and application logic that connects frontend experiences to FastAPI/Python backend services and underlying data systems.

Ship new products from scratch: Take products from an initial idea to a production-ready release. The team has previously built and launched a full dialer in under 11 weeks to support a major enterprise deal.

Modernize existing interfaces: Rework legacy or existing UI surfaces to improve scalability, performance, maintainability, and user experience.

Own features end-to-end: Take responsibility for technical decisions, implementation, delivery, and iteration rather than focusing exclusively on assigned tickets.

Operate at high speed: Move quickly from customer feedback to technical decisions, implementation, and production releases while maintaining a high bar for engineering quality.

Collaborate across engineering teams: Work with platform, backend, applied AI, and research teams to deliver cohesive product experiences on top of complex systems.

Ideal Candidate Background

Required Experience

3–8 years of professional software engineering experience.

Strong hands-on experience building production software with React.

Experience developing complex, reusable UI components for real-world applications.

Experience building frontend applications that consume APIs and interact with backend services or distributed systems.

Strong understanding of frontend architecture, including component design, state management, data flow, rendering behavior, and performance optimization.

Ability to own frontend features and technical decisions independently.

Experience translating customer feedback or product requirements into practical, production-ready software.

Strong product judgment and the ability to determine which features or customer requests create meaningful value.

Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment with significant autonomy and no traditional product management layer.

Ability to collaborate directly with backend engineers, platform engineers, and customer-facing teams.

Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco five days per week.

Technical Skills

React: Strong production experience building complex, maintainable interfaces and reusable component systems.

TypeScript: Experience writing reliable, type-safe application code. Particularly valuable for building complex product surfaces.

Next.js: Experience building production applications using Next.js is a plus.

Frontend architecture: Understanding of component composition, state management, application data flow, rendering behavior, and architectural trade-offs.

Performance optimization: Experience diagnosing and improving frontend performance, rendering efficiency, and responsiveness.

API integration: Ability to connect frontend applications to backend services and manage data flow between product interfaces and APIs.

Middle-tier development: Comfort implementing application logic and API orchestration between frontend experiences and backend services.

FastAPI / Python: Experience working with Python-based backend services or FastAPI is a plus.

AWS: Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and cloud-based application environments is beneficial.

Distributed systems: Experience building UI layers that consume data from distributed systems and complex backend services.

Production software: Understanding of testing, debugging, deployment, maintainability, and reliability in production environments.

Preferred Background

Experience building complex enterprise SaaS applications.

Experience working on multiple product surfaces within a single platform.

Experience building frontend interfaces on top of distributed systems or data-intensive backend services.

Experience with both React and TypeScript in production.

Experience with Next.js.

Experience contributing to backend or middle-tier logic using Python, FastAPI, or comparable technologies.

Experience at a high-growth startup where engineers make product decisions and own delivery.

Experience working directly with enterprise customers and incorporating their feedback into product development.

Experience building products under demanding deadlines and significant customer or business constraints.

Experience at companies with high engineering standards and operational requirements, including environments similar to enterprise hardware or security technology companies.

Experience taking a product from an initial concept to a production launch.

Experience modernizing existing interfaces while improving performance and maintainability.

Working Style and Culture

High ownership: Takes responsibility for outcomes, architecture, implementation, and delivery rather than waiting for detailed instructions.

Strong product judgment: Understands customer problems and can distinguish valuable product improvements from requests that do not create meaningful impact.

Fast execution: Comfortable moving from an idea to a shipped product quickly, even when timelines are demanding.

First-principles thinking: Breaks down unfamiliar problems, evaluates trade-offs, and develops practical solutions.

Customer obsession: Treats enterprise feedback as a direct input into product development and works to solve real customer problems.

Technical depth: Understands frontend architecture beyond simply implementing designs or wiring up components.
