Product Engineer
Job Description
- Provides design input, validation plan, prototypes/testing, complete ERN, ECO, drawings, datasheet and FMEA updates
- Ensures proper documentation of technical documents for assigned product.
- Leads sample production of new products
- Conducts follow-up on actions, PCN, deviations with relevant departments to gather necessary data
- Coordinates preparation and distribution of CCR
- Coordinates with supplier as technical liaison
- Coordinates with relevant departments on testing, process and yield improvement
- Participates, coordinates and ensures completion of quality-related requirements of a product.
About you:
- Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 4+ years of work experience in an electronics / automotive manufacturing company
- Technical knowledge preferred
- Material Science knowledge preferred
- Well-versed in statistical tools and software like Minitab
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an advantage
