Product Engineer
If you are a detail-oriented engineering professional with experience in rubber, plastics, or material conversion, then consider this Product Engineer opportunity. You’ll join the team at a growing manufacturer in Amherst, NH.
Responsibilities of the Product Engineer
- Work on multiple projects as assigned to support product realization, customer support, failure analysis, corrective action, cost reduction, etc.
- Participate in tooling meetings, monitor and help develop production processes, and coordinate implementation of systems to ensure customer requirements are met
- Provide hands-on Manufacturing Engineering support on the production floor
- Work with various internal departments to meet company goals and objectives
- Provide timely follow through on daily activities and project deadlines
- Organize and execute special projects as assigned
Qualifications of the Product Engineer
- Well-rounded engineering background with experience in both product design and general manufacturing
- Experience in rubber, plastics, or material conversion industry is required
- College degree in a technical/engineering discipline and several years of experience preferred; 10+ years of increasing responsibility in a fast-paced manufacturing environment will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Professional communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities
- Familiar with ISO/AS9100 and similar quality standards
- CAD experience; SolidEdge a plus
