Job title: Product Engineer I
About the Role The Product Engineer I is responsible for engineering activities related to product changes (ECNs) and providing manufacturing support to resolve quality, final testing, and materials issues. This role collaborates with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to deliver high levels of service to customers.
What You'll Do
- Brainstorm to address root causes of failures and implement corrective actions
- Generate and oversee cost-reduction ideas and monitor their execution as part of daily work
- Oversee publication of product documentation and product changes
- Provide technical responses and resolve product problems for internal and external customers
- Train local or global resources on the product
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Science; field: Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics (or related engineering)
- 4 years of experience
- Occasional travel
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to manage and interpret SPICE simulation results
- Ability to train resources (local or global) on AMEF, write a design analysis, and launch products through documentation processes
Nice to Have
- Experience with 2D drawings
- Knowledge of Teamcenter or similar PLM systems
- Basic knowledge of W-R products
- Knowledge of documentation release processes
