About Tuyo
Tuyo exists to help people progress in their financial life. It is a self-custodial crypto money app, bringing together wallets, stablecoins, banking rails and cards while customers control their keys and funds.
We are a small, product-minded team serving thousands of customers in more than 130 countries. We are venture-backed, have raised our seed round, and have years of runway.
Our founders are Jorge Izquierdo, who cofounded Aragon, and Alejandro Perezpayá, previously an executive at Allfunds.
The job
You build Tuyo. You help decide how it works and take features from an idea to production. Your strengths may be in frontend or backend; your work reaches across both, including our React Native app.
With Tuyo AI, customers can connect compatible AI agents to their account and use them to understand their finances, identify opportunities, and prepare payments or trades. This matters because it puts Tuyo at the center of a new way of managing money: customers get the convenience and intelligence of AI without giving up control.
Product engineering at Tuyo
Product engineers here own a customer problem and follow it through the stack. We work as fullstack as possible: shape the experience, build the interface, change backend logic, connect services, test and ship. Keeping that context together helps us make better decisions.
We have a very high bar for product quality. We want people who care deeply about what they build: how it feels to use, how reliably it works, and whether it makes someone’s life better.
Everyone has strengths. Bring depth in mobile, frontend, backend or infrastructure, and curiosity about the rest. We help each other through unfamiliar parts. You can grow your breadth here; we don’t expect equal expertise everywhere.
We invest heavily in AI tools and give engineers a very generous budget to use them. There’s a limit, but nobody’s found it yet.
Use AI to learn, build and test. Help the team become better at it by sharing workflows and improving our tools. You remain responsible for understanding and validating what you ship.
What you will do
Own features end to end, working directly with the founders and design.
Build across our React Native app, backend and integrations as the problem requires.
Build tools and experiences for AI agents, with clear permissions and approval flows.
Make complex money flows feel simple. Care about security, reliability, performance and the details people notice.
Keep the codebase practical, improve how we work, and help set the engineering standard.
What you will bring
Engineering depth. Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and experience building production interfaces, APIs or backend systems. You’re comfortable following a feature across the stack.
Ownership. You can take an ambiguous problem, make sound tradeoffs, debug it and get it shipped.
Product judgment and taste. You care about how something works and feels, and can explain your decisions.
AI in your daily work. You’re hungry to keep learning and getting better. You explore the edge of what AI makes possible, test new tools and approaches in real work, and share what you learn.
Clear communication. You explain tradeoffs, ask for help and make the people around you better.
Useful experience
Experience with wallets, stablecoins, onchain transactions or consumer products is useful. React Native or Expo is a bonus.
Location and compensation
Location: Madrid, working together in person.
Employment: Full-time.
Annual salary: €60,000–€100,000.
Equity: 0.3%–0.5%.
