Product Engineer (AI Hardware & Mobile)

Our client, a fast-growing technology company in Vietnam, is looking for a qualified talent to join their firm.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Build Mobile Experiences

• Develop and maintain the company’s mobile application.

• Integrate SDKs and native modules on iOS and Android.

• Build and maintain features related to audio recording, playback, file synchronization, and other core mobile functionalities.

• Optimize application performance and stability.

• Debug issues directly on real devices.

2. Connect Software with Hardware

• Integrate Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication with hardware devices.

• Work with GATT services and characteristics.

• Handle device discovery, pairing, authentication, and data transfer.

• Troubleshoot connection, reconnection, and background communication issues.

• Read SDK documentation and collaborate directly with hardware and firmware partners.

3. Build Across the Stack

• Develop and modify REST APIs supporting the product.

• Work with databases, authentication, and device-related data.

• Build web dashboards and internal tools using modern web frameworks when needed.

• Reuse business logic across Mobile and Web whenever appropriate.

4. Own Product Engineering

• Debug issues across hardware, firmware, Bluetooth, mobile, and backend systems.

• Test and verify features using physical devices.

• Propose technical solutions for new product capabilities.

• Help bring products from prototype to production.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in mobile application development using React Native or Native iOS/Android.

• Experience working on at least 1–2 projects involving hardware integration, such as BLE, IoT, wearables, smart devices, or products with SDK/Firmware.

• Experience integrating AI capabilities into products, using LLM APIs, Speech-to-Text, Text-to-Speech, or similar AI services to create practical user experiences.

• Ability to read and understand SDK/API documentation and proactively debug across multiple layers of the system.

• Strong Product Ownership mindset, with a willingness to work end-to-end from the device and underlying technology to the final user experience.
