Job Title: Product Development Manager - Jewelry
Fashion forward Sterling Silver and Fashion Jewelry Company located in mid-town Manhattan seeking Product Development Manager for Fashion Jewelry Division.
We work with numerous accounts including Nordstrom, Bloomingdales & Von Maur as well as various private label accounts.
Job description:
- Own entire product development process from initial design through prototype development to production
- Work closely with our suppliers to meet product requirements including design specs, material review, costing and packaging requirements.
- Negotiate costing to achieve internal margin requirements.
- Understand product testing and factory compliances.
- Act as liaison between sales and suppliers to support retailer specific trends.
- Work directly with our sales and design teams to bring innovative products to market weekly while maintaining the profitability of your category.

- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Highly organized with strong follow-up and follow-through
- Productive, dedicated and process-driven team player with heavy attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, prioritize workload successfully and execute projects with fast-turnaround, ahead of tight deadlines
- Highly proficient in Excel and power point
Salary $90,000-$110,000
