Product Development Engineer (Optical Communications)

About the Role Join Koch IP Holdings, LLC as a Product Development Engineer focusing on optical communications. You will develop new and existing products, support development projects, optimize processes, run testing, and assist with engineering changes and technical documentation to meet customer expectations. What You'll Do

• Responsible for the product standard time and yield, to ensure the relevant product can be produced competitive.
• Provides technical support to customers, suppliers and inside personnel.
• Responsible for process document deviations based on project progress. (Indirect materials changed, new materials input, technics parameter changed)
• Support R&D Engineers, PLM and Product manager to review new designs, determine if new required product can be produced on the corresponding line, and provide assistance as needed.
• Performs process design to meet the specifications to ensure the services for all customers.
• Evaluate the feasibility of the technology for cost down, and improve quality.
• Develop and review related product WOI and WR; Follow up plant scrap, IPQC issues, and analyze the reasons and take useful measures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related.
• 3+ years’ experience in optical communication products.
• Process experience of optical communication products such as connectors is preferred.
• Proficient in optical communication product’s process experience.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse information and solve problems with professional solutions.
• Good verbal and written skills for exchange of information in a clear and concise manner.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, 6sigma, Lean is preferred. Nice to Have
• Familiarity with 6sigma and Lean manufacturing (preferred). Compensation & Benefits
