About the Role
e.l.f. Beauty is seeking a highly detail-oriented Product Development Color Production Manager to lead color cosmetic production across complexion, lip, cheek, and eye categories. Reporting to the Senior Director, Product Development (Color), this role serves as a key technical partner throughout commercialization and production, ensuring color, texture, performance, and aesthetics meet approved standards. The ideal candidate will blend hands-on color cosmetics experience with strong collaboration across Product Development and Quality teams.
What You'll Do

Support all color cosmetic production across complexion, lip, cheek, and eye categories.

Serve as a key technical partner throughout commercialization and production.

Ensure products consistently meet approved color, texture, performance, and aesthetic standards.

Collaborate with Product Development and Quality teams to maintain color integrity and manufacturing quality.

Provide hands-on oversight of color formulation, shading, batch evaluation and production processes.

Partner with Sr. Director, Product Development (Color) to align on goals and timelines.

Identify process improvements to optimize color performance and production efficiency.

What We're Looking For

Hands-on experience in color cosmetics, color formulation and shading.

Experience with batch evaluation and manufacturing oversight.

Strong understanding of Product Development and Quality processes.

Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to partner across functions and manage technical issues.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year (USD).

Total compensation includes base salary, annual company-based performance bonus up to 200% of target and equity.

Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; retirement savings plan; gender neutral parental leave; and unlimited paid time off. Hybrid work model: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
