Our mission is to help people progress in their financial life. You can think of Tuyo as a bank account inside your phone, but without a bank in the middle.

We are a small and very product-minded team between Madrid and Miami, and we serve thousands of customers in more than 130 countries.

We are venture-backed, recently raised our seed round from an incredible group of investors, and have years of runway.

Our founders Jorge Izquierdo (previously cofounded Aragon) and Alejandro Perezpayá (previously executive at Allfunds) have decades of experience building incredible products and leading high-performance teams.

We do not compare ourselves to other companies in Europe or the US. We compare ourselves to the best companies in the world, and we are trying to do things nobody has done before.

The job

You design Tuyo. You decide how our product works, how it looks and how it feels in someone's hand. This is a product design role, which means that you will make product and UX decisions as much as visual ones, and you will stand behind them with clear reasoning.

Our product sits between crypto and banking: self-custody wallets, stablecoins, traditional banking rails and cards. Tuyo is also AI-native. It is built so that any AI can use it on behalf of our customers. Your job is to make all of this feel simple, calm and obvious, and far better than anything people expect from a financial product.

What you will do

Understand our product, our customers and our problems well enough to decide how we build our product, as well as how it looks.

Frame problems before solving them. Define the user journey and the jobs to be done, and decide what goes into a design and what stays out.

Embody the user. Know their mental models, their context and the moments when money makes them nervous, and design every flow from inside their head.

Explain the trade-offs behind your decisions and how we will know whether they worked.

Design end to end: information architecture, user flows, interaction models, edge cases, empty and error states, and the final visual layer.

Get the information hierarchy right on every screen, so the most important thing is always the first thing people see.

Use progressive disclosure to keep cognitive load low. Fees, yield, settlement times and networks should be there when people need them and out of the way when they don't.

Care about the details: typography, spacing, motion, haptics and the small moments that make a product feel high quality.

Move quickly from concept to prototype to shipped feature. Our engineers sit one desk away.

Make sure people can always see what an AI has looked at or done with their money.

Design with our new design system, which we continuously improve with agentic workflows, and help make it world class.

Use AI and agents to extend tokens, components and patterns, so we move faster without lowering the bar.

Join customer conversations and research sessions, and bring what you learn back into the product.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who wants to be best in class at what they do. You have taste, you have a passion for the craft, and you have the ambition to do the best work of your career here.

We care much more about who you are and what you have made than about where you have worked.

What you will bring

Taste. You can tell when something is right and when it is almost right, and you care about the difference.

Passion. You design because you love it, and it shows in your work.

Ambition. You want to build one of the best products in the world, and you hold yourself to that standard. Nobody has to ask you.

Product thinking. You make product and UX decisions as well as UI ones, and you can explain the reasoning behind every flow.

Deep user empathy. You put yourself in the user's place so fully that the right flow becomes obvious.

Excellent craft in information hierarchy, interaction design and visual design. Your portfolio shows it.

5–8 years designing products, with a strong share of that on consumer mobile apps.

AI in your daily work. You use it to explore, prototype and ship faster.

Speed without lowering the bar. You know when to ship and when to slow down.

Native or excellent English, written and spoken. Useful experience

You have built or maintained a design system, and you are curious about running one with agents.

You work with motion and prototyping tools like Origami, Rive or Framer.

You can prototype in code, ideally React Native and Expo, using AI coding tools.

You have worked in fintech, or in another domain where trust matters, like health, security or legal.

You already understand wallets, stablecoins and how on-chain transactions work.

Before you apply

We would rather tell you this now than after you join.

This is not a nine-to-five job. We expect you to be fully involved and to really care about what we are building. The way we work is very different from the normal way of working in Spain. We are a small team doing something hard, and everyone here is fully in.

This is not a role for handing off pixels. You will own product decisions, stand behind them and live with the results. There is no big design team and no long planning cycle. Things change fast.

We pay at the top of the market. We also expect more from you than a normal job, and we give you far more ownership. The equity is a real share of the company. Equity is not common in Spain and it is easy to underestimate, so we will explain exactly what you get.

What you get back: a beautiful office in Madrid, a very talented and kind team, a real say in what this company becomes, and a share of it. You also get a large budget for AI and design tools, private health insurance, generous time off, and visa sponsorship and relocation to Madrid if you need them.

Compensation

€50,000–€85,000 per year, plus 0.3%–0.5% equity.

Location

This role is based in our Madrid office. We believe this stage of company-building works best when people are together, so we’re looking for someone who can spend meaningful time in our Madrid office.
