About the Role At Factorial, design is leading a shift toward a platform-level, AI-first self-operating system. As a designer in this team, you’ll understand customers' end-to-end processes, frame problems in terms of business impact, and help decide what to build (not only how to build it). Success is measured by revenue impact and churn reduction, with a focus on system design that determines what the software should do and what humans still orchestrate.
What You'll Do
- Understand how customers' processes actually work end-to-end and translate that into product opportunities.
- Frame problems in terms of business impact and help decide what to build (not only how to build it).
- Design the self-operating system: specify what it should do, what it should decide on its own, and what humans still orchestrate. Remember that screens come last in this approach.
- Collaborate in an AI-first environment to connect hiring, onboarding, compensation, and technology with real-time cost visibility.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to map customer workflows end-to-end and turn insights into design and strategy.
- Comfort framing problems in business terms and driving decisions that impact revenue and churn.
- Experience designing systems at scale and shaping platform-level experiences, not just interfaces.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to work in an AI-first, problem-framing mindset.
