Product Design Engineer

Job title: Product Design Engineer

About the Role Product Design Engineer will help develop new and existing products for the Coeur CST line, support testing, generate models and documentation, and coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality to ensure accurate product releases.

What You'll Do

• With guidance from Senior Engineers, develop new product designs and manage product extensions focused on the Coeur CST product line.
• Provide technical support to customers, suppliers and internal personnel.
• Coordinate product activities with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and quality using the engineering change request (ECR) procedures.
• Support product testing by coordinating with reliability lab (write test requests, gather test samples, boards, etc.).
• Perform design verification activities to ensure that the design meets specification requirements.
• Check manufacturing and sales drawings for completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure all products are properly released with accurate information.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in solid modeling to generate 3D models and 2-D drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze information and solve problems with sound solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Design experience of electromechanical products such as connectors or switches.
• Knowledge of MM / BOM loading software.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
• Good knowledge of material properties.
• Good presentation skills.
• Understanding of GD&T.
• NX 3D modeling experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $65,000 - $80,000 per year (USD).
• This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
