Product Data Engineer

About the Role Anduril is seeking a Product Data Engineer to join our Configuration Management team. You will work closely with leaders of critical programs to manage a dynamic design, engineering, and manufacturing environment and define baselines for requirements, EBOM, MBOM, SOM and BOP data structures. What You'll Do

• Be a partner to Product and Program teams by generating, populating and submitting configuration item change requests with system, design and manufacturing engineers
• Prepare critical analyses to support change requests while maintaining configuration integrity and traceability such as item dependency analyses, test analyses, effectivity plans, inventory disposition analyses
• Support the execution and implementation of change notices across system engineering, design engineering, manufacturing engineering and supply chain domains
• Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities by building data driven perspectives of the full product configuration landscape
• Lead critical configuration management activities and forums by supporting configuration managers in managing forums such as Test Review Board and Change Control Board
• Work with program teams to prepare for critical technical forums including Change Review Board and Change Control Board with business cases, test data, effectivity plans and inventory disposition plans
• Document and distribute conclusions and decisions emerging from configuration management forums
• Conduct periodic product configuration record audits by supporting reviews and audits including FCA and PCA and providing direction before during and after events
• Reconcile released bills of materials against baseline bills of materials by confirming variances have signed off change notices
• Reconcile product as built records against released bills of materials by confirming variances have quality deviations
• Identify and analyze non-conformances and root causes
• Be an expert resource for the product teams for engineering release and change management by using Teamcenter to manage engineering changes including part revisions, EBOM/MBOM/SBOM updates and related workflows
• Provide guidance and support to engineering teams in configuring EBOM MBOM SBOM and associated datasets
• Be a Teamcenter super user and train product team users on workflows
• Partner with engineering teams to set requirements and identify improvement opportunities by creating tools or enhancing workflows
• Build an end to end digital thread that maintains an accurate product definition from requirements to the maintained record
• Identify and pilot opportunities to leverage AI capabilities to unlock increased speed, accuracy, and efficiency within Anduril’s configuration management activities What We're Looking For
• 3+ years of configuration analysis or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in high complexity and high-rate production environments (aerospace, automotive, security systems, medical devices, nuclear)
• Familiar with configuration management principles and practices (EIA649/C, MIL-HDBK-61B)
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) and/or data management toolsets for configuration management of complex products
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to synthesize complex quantitative data into clear decisions
• BA/BS degree
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive culture
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance Nice to Have
• Aerospace industry experience
• Proficient in technical writing of processes and procedures
• Experience with Teamcenter, Teamcenter Requirements, Teamcenter Quality, Confluence & JIRA
• Certification in CM2 or equivalent configuration management certification Compensation & Benefits
• Salary range $146,000 - $194,000 USD per year
• The salary range is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only; actual offer may vary by experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations
