Product Assistant
We are looking for a Product Assistant to join a busy onsite team in a contract capacity. This position blends operational support, customer-facing sales assistance, and hands-on product coordination in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities
- Support daily product and sales operations by assisting customers, answering questions, and helping maintain a high-quality onsite experience.
- Track, count, and replenish inventory to help ensure products are accurately stocked and available when needed.
- Prepare outgoing packages and shipments with care, confirming items are packed correctly and processed efficiently.
- Assist with promotional efforts and sales-related activities to support business growth and customer engagement.
- Use web-based tools and office systems to help manage store activity, product information, and appointment-related coordination.
- Maintain organized product areas and contribute to overall workspace readiness, including light operational upkeep as needed.
- Handle merchandise physically and complete routine stock-related tasks that require attention to detail and consistency.
- Adjust to changing scheduling needs, including periods that require a four-day workweek and increased support during busier seasons.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, including background in retail, sales support, operations, or a similar customer-focused environment.
- Associate degree required.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver attentive customer service with a positive presence.
- Experience managing inventory, stocking merchandise, and performing accurate product counts.
- Familiarity with packing, shipping, and general product handling responsibilities.
- Comfortable learning and using web-based software tools for store support and scheduling functions.
- Able to work onsite in San Francisco, California with flexibility to support changing weekly scheduling needs.
- Willingness to take on a variety of hands-on responsibilities in a fast-moving team environment.
