Job title: Product Architect - ECommerce
About the Role A generalist solutions architect within an IT portfolio (Logistics, Sales, E-commerce) responsible for creating solution designs for new capabilities and leading operational initiatives such as system upgrades, patches, and outage support. You will translate business needs into architectural blueprints and ensure a robust runway for future requirements across the product lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Lead evaluation, design, and analysis for implementing a solutions architecture across the assigned portfolio.
- Translate business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints and document design work.
- Collaborate with management, business leaders, and stakeholders to align the business roadmap with operational decisions.
- Identify organizational and financial impacts of proposed solutions.
- Work with product owners and project managers to ensure an architectural runway supports future requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, systems engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience across multiple IT solution development disciplines (technical/infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, or cloud development).
- Experience presenting to senior executives and technical audiences.
- Experience with technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java, .NET, PHP, ABAP.
- Experience with databases like MSSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, or SAP HANA.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid understanding of product management, agile principles, and enabling agile teams.
- Ability to diagram and model architecture and to guide cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- 4+ years of DevSecOps experience (unit testing, CI/CD, security compliance, test automation).
- Experience architecting secure healthcare applications with PHI/PII and HIPAA requirements.
- Experience with multi-site/global teams.
- Ability to estimate financial impact of technology alternatives.
- Knowledge of Agile SDLC methodologies (Scrum at Scale, SAFe, Kanban).
