About the Role Exxon Mobil seeks a versatile Lubricants Product & Application professional to support development, testing, and application across a broad range of product areas. The role involves automotive and heavy-duty engine lubricants, gasoline and diesel product lines, aviation, marine, industrial lubricants, greases, battery materials, and specialty applications, with emphasis on base stocks, synthetics, and product integrity. What You'll Do
- Contribute to product development, testing, and method development for multiple lubricant product lines and applications, including automotive, industrial, marine, aviation, and specialty segments.
- Apply knowledge of film application, coating polymer application, extrusion & compounding, molding & forming, and nonwoven/composites fabrication to real-world lubricant solutions.
- Develop and interpret structure-property relationships, evaluate elastomers, tires, polymers, and other materials relevant to performance and durability.
- Ensure brand integrity, quality management, and alignment with customer needs, working cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain.
- Provide technical expertise across hydrocarbon fluids, EV/driveline lubricants, battery material applications, and related advanced lubricant technologies. What We're Looking For
- Broad knowledge of lubricant product & application domains and the ability to translate customer needs into product specifications.
- Experience or familiarity with base stocks, synthetics, polymers, elastomers, and polymer coatings relevant to lubrication.
- Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills to work across multiple disciplines and markets.
