Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of SGAM by supporting product initiatives through data analysis, research, and reporting.
The Product Analyst plays a key tactical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across initiatives such as Cost of Ownership, pricing strategy, data governance, data visualization, and AI-related efforts. The role focuses on analytics, execution support, and continuous improvement of processes and tools.
What you will be doing:
- Conduct analysis to support key initiatives (e.g., Cost of Ownership, pricing, competitor analysis, industry product trends).
- Support development and maintenance of initiative and product dashboards (e.g., Power BI) providing real-time insights.
- Gather, clean, and manage data from multiple sources to support a centralized Product Data Hub.
- Monitor and track initiative progress against milestones and KPIs; highlight risks and gaps.
- Support development of reports, presentations, and materials for stakeholders and leadership.
- Maintain and manage external data sources (e.g., Morningstar) ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve data quality and efficiency.
- Support AI-related initiatives through data preparation, use case identification, and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Technology, Marketing, Risk, Finance, etc.) to execute initiatives.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions, including disciplined oversight of risks and dependencies.
