About the Role Join the ShopRite Produce Department under RoNetco NJ. You will help deliver a great customer experience by pricing, stocking, and rotating produce, while maintaining a neat and visually appealing department and supporting overall store operations. What You'll Do
- Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
- Price, stock, rotate, and display produce; ensure freshness and correct dating.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe department; follow sanitation and QA standards.
- Follow approved procedures for receiving, dating, storing, price marking, scaling, and restocking to ensure quality and rotation.
- Unload trucks and transport merchandise; lift up to 60 lbs; stand/walk for scheduled shifts; operate department equipment per safety guidelines (baler, compactor).
- Maintain and display merchandising with signage; assist in promotions as needed.
- Adhere to all Company policies, health, safety and security standards; dress appropriately; QA hand washing and gloves as required.
- Must be 18 years or older to operate certain equipment. What We're Looking For
- Proficient reading, writing, and speaking English; basic math.
- Physical ability to stand/walk for long shifts; regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally up to 60 lbs; ability to work in varying temperatures.
- Customer service orientation and ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
- Ability to follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, price marking, and restocking; maintain sanitation and QA standards.
- Willingness to work all assigned schedules and comply with attendance policies; able to work overtime when needed.
- Must be 18+ to operate balers, hi-lo’s, power jacks, and slicing machines. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour (USD).
