Job title: Procurement Team Leader
About the Role Hybrid Procurement Team Leader role focused on owning and elevating the procurement ecosystem, ensuring SAP Ariba stability, optimizing P2P processes, and enabling data-driven decision-making. You will lead a high-performing team, drive improvements, and collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver value and user-friendly solutions.
What You'll Do
- Own SAP Ariba across procurement activities: ensure stability, accuracy, and reliability. Act as System Guardian: monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, run health checks, and address potential disruptions before they impact the business.
- Lead System Change & Adoption: support tool implementation and optimization projects from functional and data perspectives; onboard new entities and drive effective tool adoption.
- Drive Innovation: propose, test, and deploy new functionalities that enhance user experience and process excellence.
- Collaborate Globally: work with tool administration, operational procurement, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, consistency, and adoption.
- Champion Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and tools, making them more intuitive and efficient.
- Stay Future-Ready: coordinate system maintenance and updates to keep the ecosystem current, stable, and optimized.
- Team Leader Responsibilities: manage team performance and workload; foster relationships; escalate unresolved issues; provide guidance and support; identify mentoring needs; oversee process documentation; manage KPIs; contribute to global standardization; follow all obligations per internal AS and AS GBS regulations; translate objectives into actionable targets and adapt plans as priorities change.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in finance, economics, procurement, IT, or a similar field (4–5 years)
- Team management and strong leadership
- Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba in an admin or consulting role
- Good knowledge of Purchase-to-Pay processes including PO/GR handling, and a solid understanding of MM processes
- Analytical mindset with ability to identify root causes and strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in project delivery, proposing process improvements, and communicating changes to stakeholders
- Strong presentation skills and ability to defend a thesis or advocate for a solution
- Fluent English
- Practical knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Positive “can-do” attitude and flexibility
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong task and time management skills including planning and organizational abilities
- Flexibility with working hours, including the possibility of covering a second shift once a week
