Location: Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals FZE, Lagos

Scope of Responsibility

• Supplier registration and onboarding.
• Vendor master data management.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Supplier Onboarding & Qualification

• Coordinate supplier registration and onboarding processes.
• Verify supplier documentation and statutory requirements.
• Conduct supplier prequalification activities.
• Maintain approved vendor databases.
• Ensure onboarding activities comply with procurement governance requirements.

Supplier Performance Management

• Develop and maintain supplier performance scorecards.
• Measure supplier performance against agreed KPIs.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance.
• Track quality and service performance.
• Identify supplier performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate supplier performance review meetings.

Supplier Relationship Management

• Build and maintain productive supplier relationships.
• Act as the primary coordination point between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate regular supplier engagement sessions.
• Promote collaborative problem-solving with suppliers.
• Support strategic supplier partnership initiatives.

Supplier Compliance Monitoring

• Verify supplier compliance with approved company requirements.
• Monitor validity of supplier certifications and registrations.
• Ensure supplier compliance with HSE and quality requirements.
• Maintain supplier compliance records and documentation.

Supplier Audits & Assessments

• Coordinate supplier assessments and site visits.
• Participate in supplier capability reviews.
• Support supplier qualification audits.
• Monitor closure of supplier improvement actions.

Supplier Development

• Identify supplier capability gaps.
• Develop supplier improvement plans.
• Support local supplier development programs.
• Facilitate supplier training and awareness initiatives.
• Promote supplier operational excellence programs.

Vendor Master Data Management

• Maintain vendor master records.
• Ensure supplier information remains current and accurate.
• Monitor vendor data quality.
• Support governance of supplier databases.
• Eliminate duplicate vendor records.

Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare supplier performance dashboards.
• Analyze supplier performance trends.
• Generate monthly and quarterly supplier reports.
• Provide supplier insights to Procurement and Supply Chain leadership.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, Maintenance, Operations, Quality, and Finance teams.
• Support resolution of supplier service issues.
• Facilitate communication between suppliers and business users.
• Support supplier performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in fields like Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or Accounting.
• 3–7 years of Supply Chain, Governance, Compliance, Audit, Risk Management, or Internal Control experience
• Master's Degree/MBA – added advantage.
• Professional certification (SRM, CPSM, CSCP, CIPS, etc.) is an advantage
• Experience within refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, manufacturing, or large industrial environments.
• Experience managing supplier performance programs and supplier databases.
• Familiarity with supplier evaluation methodologies and scorecards.
