Job title: Procurement Specialist - MRO & Mechanical Equipment
About the Role In this role you are responsible for placing and following up on orders and contract calls for MRO materials and mechanical equipment across the site, reporting to the Procurement Manager. You will work with SAP to manage orders, monitor lead times and contracts, and maintain close contact with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure compliance and timely delivery.
What You'll Do
- Place and follow up on orders and contract releases for MRO materials and mechanical equipment, primarily in SAP.
- Monitor delivery terms, lead times, and contract terms; identify deviations and escalate when needed.
- Maintain close contact with internal departments and suppliers; request quotes, evaluate and select in collaboration with stakeholders, and process price adjustments in SAP.
- Negotiate on prices, discounts, delivery terms and payment terms; ensure agreed terms are captured in procurement agreements and actively managed.
- Ensure documentation and procurement contracts adhere to Yara procedures and values.

- Team player, able to think operationally and process-wise; customer-oriented and flexible to practical solutions.
- Technical background and/or experience in procurement or supply chain is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
- Minimum MBO level 4 qualification.
- Good command of Dutch and English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to develop and grow in the role.
