About the Role This role oversees all purchased parts tied to customer projects, focusing on controlling costs, ensuring quality, and meeting deadlines. It also supports strategic sourcing for new high-dollar, critical components by engaging long-term, preferred suppliers. What You'll Do
- Manage purchased parts for customer projects with emphasis on cost, quality, and timely delivery.
- Support special project sourcing strategies for high-dollar, critical components with long-term suppliers.
- Provide cost- and quality-optimized quotations for required materials sourced from the NAFTA market.
- Perform cost and value analysis in collaboration with other departments, centers and product teams.
- Explore and investigate potentials for substitution to optimize value and supply risk. What We're Looking For
- Proven procurement/sourcing experience with a track record in supplier management and cost analysis.
- Ability to negotiate and secure favorable quotations and terms.
- Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration and working with product teams.
