Procurement Officer

Section: About the Role Urban Crescent Furniture Limited is seeking a dependable Procurement Officer to manage purchasing, inventory control, material distribution, and logistics operations.

Section: Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and verify material specifications, quantities, prices, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Inspect deliveries, maintain inventory records, and reconcile physical stock with ERP records.
• Ensure authorized material issuance and maintain accurate tracking records.
• Coordinate material movement, finished-goods dispatch, transportation, and customer deliveries.
• Monitor stock levels, wastage, and discrepancies, escalating issues when necessary.
• Prepare procurement, inventory, and logistics reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Section: Requirements

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
• Manufacturing, furniture, or construction industry experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/inventory management systems.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills.
• High integrity, accountability, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
